About Us

What We Do:

We start with amazing young horses and then develop mind and spirit via a specialized young horse training program. This is not a physical conditioning program... babies still get to be babies, but they learn how to be thoughtful and open minded. We combine learning exercises, with exposure to stimuli, to create a knowledgeable, curious, confident, willing, very well educated equine partner.

Our Location & Information: Equine Proper Beginnings, LLC is owned and operated by Cody and Glee Hastings. Our farm is on 38 acres, conveniently located about an hour South of the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex, in Blooming Grove, Texas. We are a quick drive from DFW or Love Field airports. Nationwide and Canadian clients welcome. We update our website nearly weekly, so all information is up-to-date.
